Original and angular, this Omega Genève reference 136.0049 in steel is an ideal watch for those starting their journey into vintage watch collecting. In near-new condition, this 1972 timepiece underwent a complete overhaul before being listed for sale. During this process, the plexiglass crystal and the gaskets were replaced with new ones, ensuring optimal functionality and daily wearing comfort.

The luminescent material on the indexes and hands has developed a beautiful, uniform patina. It features the original Omega-signed crown, a brand-new replacement leather strap, and a steel pin buckle.

In impeccable overall condition, this Omega Genève 136.0049 appears to have been worn very little, if at all, over the past 50 years since its creation. It has almost certainly never been polished and today, it displays only a few surface micro-scratches which do not impact either the comfort of wearing or the legibility.

The dial is pristine, and the luminescent material (tritium-based) on the markers and hands has developed a stunning patina.

The self-winding movement has been meticulously overhauled by an experienced watchmaker, and both the crystal and gaskets have been replaced with new ones to ensure the watch can be enjoyed for years to come.

A check of the mechanical functioning and accuracy is systematically carried out on all products, and a complete overhaul is performed if necessary.
