Omega Seamaster Radium year 1959

-With a beautiful diameter, its stainless steel case is perfectly preserved and retains sharp angles. Its silver dial elegantly displays the stylized Omega and Seamaster logos, and the radium-based luminescent dots have developed a magnificent uniform orange patina, which is also found on the charismatic “Alpha” hands.

The mechanical manual-winding movement, Omega caliber 285 (part of the 30T2 family) with central seconds, is as reliable as it is pleasing to look at. It has recently been fully serviced by a watchmaker specializing in vintage Omega models. During this service, the plexiglass crystal and gaskets were replaced with new ones for increased durability and wearing comfort.

Elegant and superbly preserved for 65 years, easy to wear daily and functioning perfectly, featuring a new high-quality leather strap, this 1959 Omega Seamaster is the ideal watch for anyone looking to start in the world of vintage watchmaking.

This Omega Seamaster is in excellent overall condition. The case has retained very sharp facets, and there are only 2 service marks inside the case back, reinforcing our belief that this watch has been worn and opened very little, and probably never polished.

The beautiful original silver dial shows no signs of oxidation or significant pitting. Only a few micro-scratches are noted, particularly to the left of the hand axis and around 12 o’clock. The patina on the luminescent elements is pronounced (orange) and uniform.

The mechanical manual-winding movement is in excellent aesthetic and mechanical condition and operates within the strictest tolerances.

The leather strap is new.
